This multi-step, multi-year process began with filtered water jugs that women and children carried for miles.  A few years later, those same jugs could be filled closer to home through rain barrel collection.  Today, fresh water from a natural well fills their jugs a few hundred yards from their doorsteps.

The ability to have fresh water so close to home and directly within the village opens up doors for various other opportunities in medical care, education, and employment.

Imagine what it must have felt like to see the abundance of water overflowing from the ground below!  Although it seems a little muddy, once all the parts and pieces were finished, the water was fresh, clean, and tasty!
